About Us

The News Agency (TNA) was founded in 2021 by Mohit Dubey, an IIMC alumnus and senior journalist with a distinguished career spanning The Times of India, Sahara India Media, The Indian Express, and the Indo-Asian News Service (IANS). Recognising early the growing significance of Uttar Pradesh-both to India and to the world-Dubey conceived and led this venture with a singular mandate: to deliver factual, authentic, and real-time news from the state.

In an increasingly crowded digital news landscape, TNA has established itself as a trusted single-window source for fast-paced, credible, real-time reporting from Uttar Pradesh. Building on strong reader response, the organisation has since expanded its coverage beyond the state, extending in its first phase to Delhi, Uttarakhand, Bihar, and Madhya Pradesh.

Headquartered in Lucknow-the capital of India's most populous and politically significant state-TNA has steadily grown its footprint to include Bhubaneswar, Kanpur, Noida, Ghaziabad, New Delhi, Mainpuri, Agra, Gurgaon and Vrindavan, with further expansion underway. The organisation continues to draw guidance from senior mentors across the media industry and other sections of society, who play an active role in shaping its growth and editorial direction.

The News Agency operates as a news vertical of Media Corps, a proprietorship owned by Mohit Dubey, who recently completed a seven-year tenure as Chief Executive Officer of Polstrat Communications Pvt Ltd. TNA's growing team reflects a diverse mix of young talent and seasoned professionals, many of whom have chosen to join the organisation on their own accord, drawn by its commitment to honest, distinctive, and purposeful journalism. The News Agency has a sizeable and growing following on social media - Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
